Women’s March Protest Song

Yesterday my husband, Sal and I woke up at 3:30am to take a bus to D.C. to join the women’s march. Unfortunately the bus never came to our corner in Park Slope, and so we flocked to the streets of NYC to join the resistance.

This morning I woke up a changed woman. A nasty woman. A woman who saw people globally show up (literally) to every corner of the world to fight for social justice. And for the first time in a long time I feel AWAKE.

This song is inspired by and for all rebels, dreamers, and feminists who want to take the match they lit yesterday and set their soul’s on fire.
